Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.37%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were William Demant Holding (CO:WDH), which rose 0.76% or 5.0 points to trade at 666.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS) fell 0.04% or 0.2 points to end at 459.1 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 0.40% or 1.1 points to 275.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 5.14% or 6.7 points to trade at 123.6 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 3.30% or 8.3 points to end at 243.3 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 2.44% or 14.5 points to 580.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 124 to 34 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.27% or 0.10 to $37.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.63% or 0.26 to hit $40.48 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.20 to trade at $1073.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.8582, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4613.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 98.50.
