Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Petrochemicals and Financial Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 2.90% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 9.56% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.45 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 9.52% or 1.60 points to end at 18.40 and Gulf Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8120) was up 9.30% or 0.80 points to 9.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which lost 0.64% or 0.30 points to trade at 46.80 in late trade. Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) declined 0.54% or 0.75 points to end at 137.25 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) shed 0.45% or 0.25 points to 55.25.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 161 to 3 and 3 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 5.06% or 1.75 to $36.32 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 5.04% or 1.87 to hit $38.94 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1259.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.45% to 4.1285, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 97.25.
