Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which rose 0.64% or 1.2 points to trade at 189.3 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 0.53% or 0.60 points to end at 113.60 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.16% or 0.06 points to 38.49 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which lost 1.79% or 2.6 points to trade at 142.4 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.52% or 0.41 points to end at 26.51 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) shed 1.51% or 3.2 points to 209.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 341 to 236 and 72 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.45% or 0.21 to $46.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $49.35 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.55 to trade at $1325.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 9.4873, while USD/SEK rose 0.22% to 8.4160.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.78.
