MEXICO CITY, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Mexican president-elect Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's party plans to present a bill to Congress that would permit recreational and medicinal marijuana use, according to documents posted on Tuesday on the congressional website.
The bill, which is backed by Lopez Obrador's choice for Interior Minister, Sen. Olga Sanchez, could be presented this week two legislative sources said, but could still face resistance within his National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) party, which in coalition has a majority in both houses.
