Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.60% or 0.74 points to trade at 46.90 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 0.95% or 5.0 points to end at 530.5 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 0.81% or 0.29 points to 35.99 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which lost 0.66% or 1.20 points to trade at 182.00 in late trade. AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) declined 0.62% or 1.1 points to end at 177.0 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) shed 0.60% or 0.22 points to 36.22.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 382 to 298 and 78 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.79% or 1.48 to $51.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.65% or 1.48 to hit $54.44 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 6.65 to trade at $1209.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 9.5435, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 9.0487.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 102.10.
