WARSAW, Aug 11 (Reuters) - The Polish government decided to
maintain the limits on electricity consumption for the largest
customers by the end of August due to the lasting heatwave, it
said on Tuesday.
The ministry did not elaborate at what level the limits
would be kept in place.
A lingering heatwave and low water levels have hit the
country's outdated electricity system, forcing the country to
cut power supply to industry to avoid blackouts.
