DUBAI, April 8 (Reuters) - Australian wheat was the lowest offered at $300.75 a tonne cost, insurance and freight (CIF) in Iraq's state purchasing tender for 50,000 tonnes of wheat, traders said on Sunday.
The offer was made by supplier ADM for two cargoes of 50,000 tonnes.
No purchase has yet been made in the tender from Iraq's trade ministry, which sought U.S., Canadian or Australian origin only. Offers are still being considered and must remain valid for consideration up to April 12.
Five suppliers presented offers for the tender. Traders said the following were the bids in dollars a tonne, all on a CIF basis:
*Teriyaki: 50,000 tonnes of U.S. wheat at $332.30, 50,000 tonnes of Australian wheat at $312.30
*Hanalico: 50,000 tonnes of Australian wheat at $306
*ADM: 50,000 tonnes of U.S. wheat at $332.83, 50,000 tonnes of Australian wheat at $300.75 and 50,000 tonnes of Australian wheat at $300.75
*Cargill: 50,000 tonnes of Australian wheat at $305.40, 50,000 tonnes of Canadian at $319 and 50,000 tonnes of U.S. wheat at $336.60
