Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.55% or 180.0 points to trade at 11780.0 at the close. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 0.64% or 80.0 points to end at 12660.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was up 0.26% or 5.0 points to 1925.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 2.56% or 860.0 points to trade at 32720.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 2.41% or 35.0 points to end at 1415.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 2.04% or 25.0 points to 1200.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 6 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.28% or 3.00 to $134.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.25% or 25.50 to hit $2061.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.88% or 23.29 to trade at $1259.69 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.00% to 2880.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.18% to 919.41.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.73% at 97.38.
