Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.30% or 5.5 points to trade at 428.2 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.19% or 0.43 points to end at 36.49 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.89% or 6.5 points to 734.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which fell 2.40% or 14.5 points to trade at 589.0 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) declined 2.29% or 14.5 points to end at 618.5 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.94% or 16.5 points to 833.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 107 to 50 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.42% or 1.01 to $40.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.34% or 0.60 to hit $44.59 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1080.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.85% to 6.9574, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.67% at 99.23.
