Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Insurance, Construction & Building Materials and Beverage sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Oulmes (CS:OULM), which rose 5.91% or 60 points to trade at 1075 at the close. Meanwhile, Saham Assurance (CS:SAH) added 4.66% or 43 points to end at 965 and Lafarge Ciments (CS:LAC) was up 4.26% or 65 points to 1590 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ib Maroc.Com (CS:IBMC), which fell 6.00% or 5.40 points to trade at 84.60 at the close. Risma (CS:RIS) declined 5.97% or 6.75 points to end at 106.25 and CDM (CS:CDM) was down 5.31% or 23 points to 410.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 21 to 19 and 3 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 4.20% or 1.57 to $35.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.75% or 1.06 to hit $37.66 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.24% or 13.20 to trade at $1074.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.09% to 10.8020, while USD/MAD fell 0.03% to 9.8723.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 98.29.
