Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.80% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.82% or 0.26 points to trade at 31.81 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 0.65% or 4.0 points to end at 618.5 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 0.64% or 0.8 points to 125.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 2.69% or 7.9 points to trade at 285.7 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.75% or 16.5 points to end at 925.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.70% or 14.5 points to 840.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 114 to 34 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.59% or 1.45 to $41.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 3.78% or 1.62 to hit $44.45 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1257.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.5381, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4428.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 94.08.
