Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.31%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV), which rose 10.55% or 2.90 points to trade at 30.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 2.03% or 0.18 points to end at 9.06 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:UPM1V) was up 1.35% or 0.22 points to 16.47 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V), which fell 5.00% or 0.27 points to trade at 5.12 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 4.92% or 0.520 points to end at 10.040 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 2.89% or 0.0980 points to 3.2900.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 92 to 82 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 1.45% or 0.70 to $48.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 2.14% or 0.99 to hit $45.30 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.99% or 11.70 to trade at $1165.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 1.1345, while EUR/GBP fell 0.07% to 0.7341.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 94.99.
