Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.29% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.09% or 120.0 points to trade at 11140.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.89% or 35.0 points to end at 3960.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 0.49% or 5.0 points to 1025.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 2.18% or 640.0 points to trade at 28700.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.21% or 7.0 points to end at 570.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 1.21% or 420.0 points to 34300.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.39% or 0.63 to $160.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.81% or 19.50 to hit $2413.50 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1225.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.30% to 3132.51, while BRL/COP rose 0.86% to 915.59.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 100.39.
