Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 4.03% or 35.5 points to trade at 917.0 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV (CO:DSV) added 4.01% or 10.3 points to end at 267.1 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 3.40% or 19.0 points to 578.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which fell 1.80% or 0.54 points to trade at 29.41 at the close. Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.06% or 3.0 points to end at 286.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.42% or 1.8 points to 128.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 127 to 34 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) rose to all time highs; rising 4.03% or 35.5 to 917.0. Shares in TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; down 1.80% or 0.54 to 29.41.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.87% or 0.29 to $33.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 2.51% or 0.88 to hit $35.67 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.13% or 1.40 to trade at $1117.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.00% to 6.8900, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4623.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.07% at 99.68.
