Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Investment, Public Services and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 3.28% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 1.12% or 90.0 points to trade at 8010.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) fell 0.25% or 60.0 points to end at 24100.0 and Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) was down 0.60% or 10.0 points to 1670.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 7.41% or 280.0 points to trade at 3500.0 at the close. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) declined 6.50% or 410.0 points to end at 5900.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was down 6.39% or 155.0 points to 2270.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 25 to 2.
Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) fell to 3-years lows; falling 7.41% or 280.0 to 3500.0. Shares in Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) fell to 3-years lows; falling 6.50% or 410.0 to 5900.0. Shares in Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) fell to all time lows; falling 6.39% or 155.0 to 2270.0.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 3.69% or 4.65 to $121.33 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.41% or 12.50 to hit $3095.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.54% or 6.30 to trade at $1153.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.44% to 3106.40, while BRL/COP fell 0.02% to 874.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.43% at 93.48.
