Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Transport, Real Estate Development and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.51%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which rose 8.66% or 1.75 points to trade at 21.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) added 7.22% or 0.65 points to end at 9.65 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was up 5.43% or 0.70 points to 13.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310), which fell 3.74% or 0.85 points to trade at 21.85 at the close. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 3.14% or 3.75 points to end at 115.50 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was down 3.04% or 2.00 points to 63.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 114 to 52.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $47.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $50.24 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.20 to trade at $1162.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.2698, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7499.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 94.86.
