Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.97% or 0.08 points to trade at 1.27 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) added 2.09% or 3.8 points to end at 186.0 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) was up 1.88% or 0.54 points to 29.21 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telenor ASA (OL:TEL), which lost 1.70% or 2.2 points to trade at 127.5 in late trade. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.49% or 0.51 points to end at 33.64 and DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) shed 1.02% or 0.09 points to 8.23.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 106 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.51% or 0.28 to hit $55.20 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.88% or 10.00 to trade at $1132.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.10% to 9.0452, while USD/NOK rose 0.14% to 8.7005.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 103.24.
