Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Holding Companies, Telecoms and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM), which rose 9.97% or 18.75 points to trade at 206.75 at the close. Managem (CS:MNG) added 5.54% or 72 points to end at 1372 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was up 5.19% or 2.96 points to 60.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which lost 6.35% or 1.51 points to trade at 22.27 in late trade. Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) declined 5.96% or 8.35 points to end at 131.65 and Stokvis Nord Afrique (CS:SNA) shed 4.67% or 0.98 points to 20.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 25 to 16 and 7 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.68% or 0.80 to $48.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.37% or 0.70 to hit $51.62 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.65 to trade at $1199.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.16% to 10.7130, while USD/MAD fell 0.17% to 10.0698.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 101.28.
