Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which rose 2.35% or 107 points to trade at 4661 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TA:AMOT) added 1.86% or 32 points to end at 1749 and Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) was up 1.70% or 57 points to 3412 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Partner (TA:PTNR), which lost 3.05% or 60 points to trade at 1905 in late trade. Mylan NV (TA:MYL) declined 2.66% or 400 points to end at 14640 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) shed 1.73% or 430 points to 24480.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 231 to 173 and 43 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.29% or 0.64 to $50.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.84% or 0.44 to hit $52.98 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.45% or 5.60 to trade at $1248.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.6218, while EUR/ILS fell 0.19% to 3.8876.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 99.95.
