Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 1.11% or 15.0 points to trade at 1370.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 1.10% or 30.0 points to end at 2755.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) was up 0.80% or 8.0 points to 1005.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which lost 1.14% or 320.0 points to trade at 27700.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 0.92% or 100.0 points to end at 10820.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 0.91% or 100.0 points to 10840.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 18 to 12 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.80% or 2.48 to $140.23 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 3.46% or 72.00 to hit $2006.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.45 to trade at $1256.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.23% to 2862.14, while BRL/COP rose 0.16% to 909.54.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 101.02.
