U.K. consumer price inflation 2.3% vs. 2.1% forecast
Investing.com - Consumer price inflation in the U.K. rose more-than-expected last month, official data showed on Tuesday.

In a report, National Statistics said that U.K. consumer price inflation rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.3%, from 1.8% in the preceding month.

Analysts had expected U.K. consumer price inflation to rise to 2.1% last month.
