Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 1.79% or 340.0 points to trade at 19380.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.25% or 400.0 points to end at 32400.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.19% or 360.0 points to 30520.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which lost 1.17% or 0.3 points to trade at 25.3 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.09% or 15.0 points to end at 1365.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) shed 0.92% or 380.0 points to 41100.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.05% or 1.46 to $140.23 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.76% or 34.50 to hit $1992.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.38 to trade at $1296.48 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.56% to 2978.80, while BRL/COP fell 0.65% to 937.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.96.
