Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 0.95% or 5.0 points to trade at 533.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.84% or 40.0 points to end at 4780.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 0.74% or 100.0 points to 13660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 1.14% or 380.0 points to trade at 33100.0 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) declined 0.67% or 200.0 points to end at 29500.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.48% or 5.0 points to 1030.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 8 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.53% or 3.48 to $141.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 2.17% or 42.50 to hit $2002.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.23% or 3.03 to trade at $1326.27 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.12% to 2896.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.11% to 929.93.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 91.76.
