Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 7.14% or 20.0 points to trade at 300.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 2.27% or 200.0 points to end at 9000.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 1.35% or 50.0 points to 3755.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 3.17% or 420.0 points to trade at 12840.0 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) declined 2.27% or 25.0 points to end at 1075.0 and Grupoaval (CN:GAA) shed 2.27% or 25.0 points to 1075.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 5 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.03% or 1.25 to $119.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.77% or 39.00 to hit $2248.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.52% or 6.40 to trade at $1235.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.49% to 3186.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.99% to 872.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 96.09.
