Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.40% or 310.0 points to trade at 9430.0 at the close. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) added 1.74% or 280.0 points to end at 16360.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 1.63% or 540.0 points to 33660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 1.97% or 380.0 points to trade at 18920.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.52% or 6.0 points to end at 389.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.28% or 35.0 points to 2695.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.17% or 0.20 to $117.42 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.52% or 36.00 to hit $2403.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.28% or 3.60 to trade at $1299.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.05% to 2861.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.10% to 770.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 93.80.
