Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 3.09% or 960.0 points to trade at 32000.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 3.07% or 860.0 points to end at 28900.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 2.58% or 840.0 points to 33420.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 2.88% or 620.0 points to trade at 20900.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 1.75% or 340.0 points to end at 19060.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) shed 1.59% or 9.0 points to 556.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.39% or 0.50 to $129.07 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.88% or 17.00 to hit $1923.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.01% or 13.33 to trade at $1327.43 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.51% to 2949.40, while BRL/COP rose 0.89% to 936.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 92.61.
