Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.59% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 2.08% or 720.0 points to trade at 35320.0 at the close. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) added 1.54% or 520.0 points to end at 34200.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.42% or 980.0 points to 69980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.25% or 7.0 points to trade at 552.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 0.97% or 10.0 points to end at 1020.0 and Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) shed 0.75% or 10.0 points to 1325.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 8 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.15% or 0.19 to $128.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.46% or 28.00 to hit $1951.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.69% or 9.18 to trade at $1339.58 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 2931.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.11% to 934.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 92.57.
