Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.02% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 3.56% or 240.0 points to trade at 6990.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 1.82% or 380.0 points to end at 21240.0 and Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) was up 1.81% or 480.0 points to 27000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 4.93% or 18.0 points to trade at 347.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.59% or 4.0 points to end at 247.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 0.78% or 80.0 points to 10120.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 24 to 5 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.76% or 0.80 to $104.80 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.02% or 0.50 to hit $2227.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1318.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.77% to 3109.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.68% to 847.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 95.812.
