Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 1.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 3.43% or 27.0 points to trade at 815.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 2.84% or 480.0 points to end at 17400.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 2.66% or 75.0 points to 2895.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 0.79% or 20.0 points to trade at 2520.0 in late trade. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) declined 0.42% or 5.0 points to end at 1195.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.12% or 10.0 points to 8390.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 23 to 4 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.43% or 0.50 to $117.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.76% or 19.00 to hit $2469.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 8.50 to trade at $1260.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.48% to 2931.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.81% to 771.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 94.38.
