Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Public Services, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.02% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 1.35% or 140.0 points to trade at 10540.0 at the close. Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) added 1.04% or 140.0 points to end at 13600.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 1.00% or 45.0 points to 4560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 1.04% or 220.0 points to trade at 20980.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 0.86% or 100.0 points to end at 11500.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 0.74% or 10.0 points to 1340.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 9 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 5.46% or 6.38 to $123.30 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 3.01% or 54.50 to hit $1866.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 8.01 to trade at $1257.41 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.20% to 3020.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.13% to 904.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 96.95.
