Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Services and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 1.17% or 160.0 points to trade at 13820.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.76% or 10.0 points to end at 1325.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.72% or 10.0 points to 1405.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 1.56% or 160.0 points to trade at 10100.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.52% or 320.0 points to end at 20800.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 1.46% or 280.0 points to 18900.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 12 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.01% or 1.28 to $125.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.22% or 25.00 to hit $2073.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.47 to trade at $1274.27 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.11% to 2952.39, while BRL/COP rose 0.36% to 938.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 93.41.
