Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 1.79% or 100.0 points to trade at 5700.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.27% or 50.0 points to end at 3990.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was up 0.80% or 2.0 points to 253.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 2.70% or 10.0 points to trade at 360.0 in late trade. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) declined 2.11% or 300.0 points to end at 13920.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 1.04% or 360.0 points to 34340.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 11 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.38% or 1.40 to $102.70 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.67% or 38.00 to hit $2312.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.20 to trade at $1293.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.69% to 3117.60, while BRL/COP fell 1.13% to 834.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 95.653.
