Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 1.06% or 15.0 points to trade at 1425.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.75% or 10.0 points to end at 1345.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.55% or 180.0 points to 32760.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 1.96% or 20.0 points to trade at 1000.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 1.70% or 200.0 points to end at 11580.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.53% or 180.0 points to 11620.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 9 and 8 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.09% or 0.11 to $126.53 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.67% or 14.00 to hit $2085.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.86 to trade at $1305.36 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.21% to 2934.57, while BRL/COP rose 0.46% to 931.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 92.90.
