Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Investment, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which rose 1.01% or 340.0 points to trade at 33960.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.86% or 40.0 points to end at 4700.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 0.49% or 160.0 points to 32660.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 3.20% or 17.0 points to trade at 514.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 2.48% or 250.0 points to end at 9830.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) shed 0.94% or 380.0 points to 40260.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 21 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.81% or 1.11 to $135.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.90% or 18.00 to hit $2024.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.63% or 21.50 to trade at $1294.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.81% to 2915.40, while BRL/COP rose 0.58% to 927.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 92.00.
