Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 0.98% or 5.0 points to trade at 515.0 at the close. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 0.68% or 140.0 points to end at 20700.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) was up 0.58% or 60.0 points to 10320.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 0.97% or 340.0 points to trade at 34540.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 0.96% or 10.0 points to end at 1030.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 0.84% or 160.0 points to 18800.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.12% or 0.17 to $137.82 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.41% or 28.00 to hit $1959.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.57 to trade at $1332.57 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 2898.67, while BRL/COP rose 0.13% to 930.22.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 92.15.
