Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 0.86% or 100.0 points to trade at 11720.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.38% or 5.0 points to end at 1335.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 0.11% or 20.0 points to 18920.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which lost 2.08% or 680.0 points to trade at 32000.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.19% or 400.0 points to end at 33080.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.98% or 10.0 points to 1010.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 5 and 9 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.92% or 1.20 to $130.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 3.15% or 65.50 to hit $2014.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.94% or 11.94 to trade at $1286.84 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.57% to 2954.58, while BRL/COP fell 0.37% to 927.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 93.51.
