Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.94% or 7.0 points to trade at 367.1 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.65% or 5.2 points to end at 320.5 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 1.61% or 10.0 points to 631.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 0.93% or 110 points to trade at 11760 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.61% or 70 points to end at 11360 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 0.55% or 2.3 points to 417.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 52 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.16% or 1.08 to $50.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.19% or 1.21 to hit $56.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.63 to trade at $1316.23 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.2003, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 91.50.
