Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 4.61% or 21.4 points to trade at 485.2 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.57% or 9.0 points to end at 359.1 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.50% or 13.5 points to 554.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 5.88% or 4.85 points to trade at 77.65 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.01% or 26.0 points to end at 1265.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.70% or 5.4 points to 312.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 61 to 59 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.29% or 0.15 to $52.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.14% or 0.08 to hit $58.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 8.08 to trade at $1270.92 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 1.06% to 6.3682, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4419.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.86% at 94.33.
