Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 0.41% or 1.6 points to trade at 396.3 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) fell 0.20% or 0.6 points to end at 296.2 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.39% or 2.0 points to 512.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.28% or 225 points to trade at 9655 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.75% or 165 points to end at 9255 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) shed 1.74% or 1.15 points to 65.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 108 to 36 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 3.48% or 1.55 to $46.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 3.14% or 1.46 to hit $47.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.15% or 2.05 to trade at $1343.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.6215, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4517.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 95.20.
