Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.71%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 2.42% or 4.3 points to trade at 181.8 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.75% or 2.9 points to end at 388.2 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.31% or 1.0 points to 328.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which lost 11.27% or 27.6 points to trade at 217.4 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 4.13% or 11.0 points to end at 255.2 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) shed 2.54% or 8.0 points to 306.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 49 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.14% or 0.80 to $69.07 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.88% or 0.69 to hit $77.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.20 to trade at $1202.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.4151, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4558.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 95.12.
