Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.58% or 18.0 points to trade at 1160.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.40% or 3.7 points to end at 268.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.90% or 4.0 points to 450.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which lost 0.77% or 4.0 points to trade at 516.0 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 0.74% or 0.9 points to end at 120.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.53% or 0.7 points to 132.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 72 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.72% or 0.33 to $45.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.40% or 0.19 to hit $46.77 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.33% or 4.35 to trade at $1333.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.54% to 6.7528, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4379.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.57% at 97.11.
