Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 9.32% or 45.1 points to trade at 529.0 at the close. Meanwhile, William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 4.38% or 26.0 points to end at 620.0 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 3.80% or 1.37 points to 37.38 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which fell 1.24% or 5.0 points to trade at 397.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 1.16% or 2.2 points to end at 188.2 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.13% or 9.0 points to 788.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 95 to 64 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) rose to all time highs; up 4.38% or 26.0 to 620.0.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.82% or 1.30 to $47.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.51% or 1.23 to hit $50.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.58% or 18.00 to trade at $1117.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.49% to 6.8044, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4592.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.31% at 97.30.
