Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Telecoms and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 5.24% or 0.1520 points to trade at 3.0500 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 2.24% or 0.12 points to end at 5.70 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 2.03% or 0.076 points to 3.828 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 2.67% or 0.86 points to trade at 31.35 at the close. Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) declined 2.57% or 0.62 points to end at 23.54 and TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V) was down 2.18% or 0.104 points to 4.664.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 93 to 81 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.17% or 0.09 to $49.60 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.64% or 0.30 to hit $46.36 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.99% or 11.50 to trade at $1176.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.54% to 1.1441, while EUR/GBP fell 0.74% to 0.7407.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.59% at 94.25.
