The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Intralot (AT:INLr), which rose 5.19% or 0.049 points to trade at 0.993 at the close. Crete Plastics SA (AT:PLAKR) added 3.73% or 0.500 points to end at 13.700 and Public Power (AT:DEHr) was up 3.37% or 0.07 points to 2.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Selonda Aquaculture SA (AT:SELr), which lost 3.90% or 0.0070 points to trade at 0.1785 in late trade. Motor Oil Hellas Corinth Refineries SA (AT:MORr) declined 2.74% or 0.52 points to end at 18.48 and Autohellas (AT:AUTr) shed 2.44% or 0.60 points to 24.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 57 to 52 and 21 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for June delivery was down 0.30% or 3.90 to $1287.60 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June rose 0.60% or 0.43 to hit $71.92 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.19% or 0.94 to trade at $80.22 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.1789, while EUR/GBP fell 0.26% to 0.8731.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 93.43.
