Investing.com – Greece equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as in the sectors propelled shares .

The biggest gainers of the session on the Athens General Composite were Piraeus Bank SA (AT:BOPr), which rose 8.05% or 0.216 points to trade at 2.900 at the close. Eurobank Ergasias SA (AT:EURBr) added 5.56% or 0.0500 points to end at 0.9500 and Attica Bank SA (AT:BOAr) was up 5.20% or 0.015 points to 0.293 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aegean Airlines (AT:AGNr), which lost 5.95% or 0.55 points to trade at 8.70 in late trade. Public Power (AT:DEHr) declined 0.90% or 0.02 points to end at 2.20 and Marfin Invest (AT:MRFr) shed 1.02% or 0.001 points to 0.136.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 39 and 18 ended unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for June delivery was up 0.04% or 0.50 to $1291.40 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 0.55% or 0.40 to hit $72.75 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract rose 1.35% or 1.07 to trade at $80.29 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.09% to 1.1780, while EUR/GBP fell 0.10% to 0.8773.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.50.
