Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 4.31% or 34.5 points to trade at 834.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.85% or 310 points to end at 11190 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 2.71% or 9.8 points to 371.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 1.32% or 3.3 points to trade at 245.9 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 1.08% or 15.0 points to end at 1375.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.70% or 1.0 points to 142.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 89 to 31 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.24% or 0.13 to $53.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.14% or 0.08 to hit $56.43 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.52% or 6.55 to trade at $1247.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 7.0343, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4334.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 101.59.
