Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.74%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA), which rose 4.61% or 389 points to trade at 8819 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 3.89% or 1000 points to end at 26740 and Partner (TA:PTNR) was up 1.92% or 28 points to 1484 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Shufersal (TA:SAE), which lost 1.32% or 31 points to trade at 2318 in late trade. Poalim (TA:POLI) declined 0.93% or 24 points to end at 2555 and Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) shed 0.72% or 270 points to 37300.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 261 to 108 and 40 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $65.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.52% or 0.37 to hit $71.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 7.80 to trade at $1191.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.6606, while EUR/ILS rose 0.22% to 4.1870.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 96.00.
