Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment, Industrials and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.28% or 35.0 points to trade at 2780.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) added 1.25% or 7.0 points to end at 565.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.98% or 320.0 points to 32960.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 1.45% or 15.0 points to trade at 1020.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 1.01% or 220.0 points to end at 21660.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 0.82% or 80.0 points to 9720.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.99% or 2.62 to $128.85 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.68% or 53.50 to hit $1944.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.88 to trade at $1314.42 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.35% to 2935.56, while BRL/COP fell 0.27% to 927.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 92.31.
