Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.64% to hit a new 6-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 5.00% or 34.0 points to trade at 714.0 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 2.82% or 9.5 points to end at 346.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 2.21% or 3.6 points to 166.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which lost 2.22% or 6.10 points to trade at 269.00 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 0.55% or 1.9 points to end at 345.6 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.24% or 0.6 points to 252.4.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 44 and 22 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $50.85 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.26% or 0.14 to hit $53.07 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.40 to trade at $1281.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.9181, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 99.53.
