Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Financial Services and Industrial Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.70% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which rose 9.67% or 2.90 points to trade at 32.90 at the close. National Com Bnk (SE:1180) added 7.67% or 3.10 points to end at 43.50 and Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) was up 5.12% or 1.50 points to 30.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which lost 2.72% or 0.20 points to trade at 7.15 in late trade. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) declined 2.67% or 0.25 points to end at 9.10 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) shed 2.44% or 0.40 points to 16.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 67 and 31 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.11% or 1.05 to $48.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $50.68 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.47% or 6.00 to trade at $1275.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.84% to 4.1218, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7517.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.62% at 98.31.
